(QUINTESSENTIAL CAREERS: DeLand, FL) – College students at 10 colleges around the state of Florida will soon be seeing the Quintessential Careers team of experts talking on such issues as resumes, interviewing, internships, career passion, networking, and more.

“Our goal is to mark our site’s 10th anniversary by going back to our roots -- going back to what we did before we placed all the information on the Web, and that’s talking with students face-to-face in a series of workshops at colleges around the state,” said Randall S. Hansen, Ph.D., founder of Quintessential Careers, and a professor of marketing at Stetson University, DeLand, FL.

Along with the workshops, many colleges will also encounter the Quintessential Careers 10th Anniversary RV.

“More important than the tour or the RV,” said Hansen, “is the further growth of the site to include about 3,000 pages of free content that includes articles, tutorials, checklists, tests, and more -- all written to empower job-seekers to follow their passion and lead successful lives.”

Visitors to the site will find more than 350 articles and tutorials on all aspects of job-hunting, from career exploration to job offer negotiation included in the 3,000 pages that comprise the site. The site also reviews and links to more than 1,400 job boards and company career centers, including job sites in all industries and located in the U.S. and around the world. Visitors will also find career information on writing cover letters and resumes, mastering job interviews, and negotiating salaries. The QuintZine newsletter keeps subscribers current on college, career, and job-hunting trends while listing all the latest additions to the site.

In addition to teaching marketing at Stetson University and serving as Webmaster of Quintessential Careers and publisher of QuintZine, Randall Hansen also writes a weekly career advice column under the name The Career Doctor (http://www.careerdoctor.org/), and is co-author of the cover letter bible, Dynamic Cover Letters, now in its third edition.
